24th May 2010 Happy Birthday to Megan and all the Ambersiders from the litter 25.05.2008 - with mother Cindy Z Vellych Louk (Cindy) and father Amberside Apple Jack (Cider)! I cannot believe that 2 years have passed! It feels like yesterday! Cindy is still the "Apple of my Eye" and is at presnet being a wonderful "Aunt" to Mattina's pups. Mattina and Cindy are like "book ends - they just hate to be seperated! _________________________________________________________________ |
27th April, 2010 Proud Mum Mattina has given birth to 6 puppies - 3 girls, 1 of each colour, and 3 boys, 2 chocolate and 1 yellow. Mum and puppies doing well.

1st March, 2009 At his first show, Amberside Firenze, took the title Bundespokalsieger. He later was handled by Ann Catherine in her first Child Handling Class, and took 1st place. Well done Ann Catherine and Bobby.
Also at the same show Amberside Amochalatta (Mocha) became Champion of Hollandmastership at her first show.

1st November, 2008 Sadly today, we had to say goodbye to our Jack. I know several of you have his children, and he has always been admired by so many. He has been a great friend to us, and has only really slowed down over the past couple of months, but was still willing to give anyone, especially children a hug. This picture and the following poem is from Brian Muchmore. This is the message as it arrived - Hi Gloria. Not sure If I sent this to you, I think you will appreciate it. Pic was taken soon after Sheba arrived here in 1999, I found it again recently and had to write the words. Sheba immediately adopted and was adopted by Laura and they are still the same. Be Lucky. Brian.
Sheba is now a 10 year old rescue dog, and what a wonderful companion to the family she has been. Thankyou Brian for giving her such a wonderful home, and a wonderful life. The poem is: Come on, let me kiss your nose and you can lick my lips. Your nose is cold and wet and I’ve just eaten egg and chips. The egg was nice and runny, it spread around my chin and when you lick it off, it tickles, makes me grin. Some people say, “It’s dirty” and you could “give me worms”. That, or turn me blind, with all sorts of horrid germs. I don’t care, I love you, as much as you love me. We will be friends forever, as long as life may be.

1st July, 2008 TARA IS HOME!
Jim and I arrived home with Tara 3.00 a.m. this morning, all safe and well. My thanks to Marco and Nico for all they have done to make it possible to have her mated to Clooney, and to bring her back to Wales. It was also a pleasure, to have Tara with us in France, who was made welcome everywhere we went, in the restaurants and in the hotels. Above, 2 pictures taken in Monbreuil-Bellay. 14th February, 2008 Eye Testing All Amberside dogs, tested on 14th March, 2008, by Hamish Cormie passed. My thanks to Hamish for holding the Clinic, and also for all the other dogs that attended. In addition we held a Heart Clinic with Jan Cormie, who also had 12 dogs attend.
We intend to hold a similar session in March next year.
My thanks to Hamish and Jan Cormie for conducting the clinics. It is very much appreciated.

28th May, 2007 Over 1000 miles and Mattina arrives in Wales. A long journey for Jim, Mattina and I, but a delight to be able to bring her to Wales, and also, what a wonderful experience to treasure, being able to have her in the hotels and restaurants of France, where she was made VERY welcome.
Mattina and I, on a 10C bridge, near to Alecon in France, the night before our departure to the UK, and home to Wales.
